Each state is different. If you are not careful, you could end up with three of you in the business, and unintended consequence. A lot has to do with where you are in the divorce process. Plus, if you play around with hiding money, there is always the risk that the IRS will come hunting for you ... and that's almost as bad as dealing with an ex spouse.
