Is the SBA irrelevant?

Hey, guess what?  April 22-28 is National Small Business Week, or so says the SBA.  Never heard a word about it?  You’re not alone.

I’ve been in business for decades, and I know hundreds of other men and women who are self-employed or run their own small businesses.  I don’t know a single one who has ever — I repeat, EVER — received any benefit from the Small Business Association.  I’m not saying the organization is bad…just irrelevant.

How about you?  What do you think?  Has the SBA ever helped you?  I’m not even referring to money.  How about information or advice?  Share your thoughts with us.

I just wrote an article about entrepreneurs search for capital. No one mentioned the SBA. I focused on reverse mergers into the stock market. This technique has been used by Warren Buffet, American Idol, and even an Ann Arbor, Michigan entrepreneur named Peter Klamka who bought a piece of a solar company.

James, I’m not all that clear on the details of “reverse mergers.” Can you provide more info or guide us to a link?
