Twitter is in a category called micro blogging. You blog or communicate in 140 characters. You follow people kind of like myspace or facebook and people follow you. You may not be following those who are following you and vise versa. i choose to follow people who are in my field of work or people I want to network with our that live in my area. Twitter is a great way to find help, find contacts, learn information and to share your blog, business and expertise. I have met many b 2 b contacts and networked with clients and have found friends. Amazing tool. Set up an account and find me there.

Leah, I am still a novice when it comes to networking online. I'm sure I'm not alone. Would you care to expand on such things as twitter, etc.? Thanks. John R. Ingrisano

Networking IS the key to success no doubt. I think your tip of promoting others is really an important factor! Also like to add to the list the social networking on line, such as twitter, facebook, digg...I could list hundreds.

John: I know that you also make terrific contributions to the North America Field Developemnt Association, made up of trainers and commerical partners from all around the country. In short, you practice what you preach as Communications Chair of that group. Good for you. Keep up the good work.
