FAILURE IS PART OF OUR LIVES

You need the skin of a rhino and the tenacity of a bulldog to make it in business.  Still, you are going to fail…once…twice…perhaps a handful of times.  Anybody who thinks that being in business means a straight shot to the top is either darn lucky or, more likely, the fortunate child of the company founder.

Business is not so much about how you handle success as how you respond to setbacks, difficulties and flat-out failures.  The hardest part:  Figuring out, admitting and then learning from the mistakes YOU made.  So, never lie to yourself and never give up.

John, I love your blog. I have a new book out called “Sowing Seeds of Purpose” (How to Harvest a Life Abundant) and you are a perfect example of someone sowing seeds of purpose my friend! I believe each failure is just another wonderful lesson to teach us what not to do the next time. Each failure is but another rung on the ladder to whatever success we seek. Keep up the good work!
